Probiotics

During the past few years, there has been an increased focus on the association between the origin of atopic dermatitis and the disruption in the intestinal barrier function. Additionally, researchers have increasingly analyzed the gut microbiota of patients with atopic dermatitis.

These show a reduction in the production of short-chain fatty acids that play an anti-inflammatory role. Consequently, this reduction may create a pro-inflammatory state in the gut and a loss of barrier integrity.

A lower diversity of microbiota during the earliest infancy is also a suggested risk factor for atopic dermatitis. Together, these associations support the use of probiotics in atopic dermatitis treatments.

Probiotics are live microorganisms which when administered in adequate amounts confer a health benefit on the host. They are a part of your microbiome and help balance the good and bad bacteria in your body.  Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium inhabit many parts of your body, including the gut. Probiotics are safe for consumption.

ProZema is unique probiotic blend. It contains three patented strains: Bifidobacterium lactis CECT 8145, Bifidobacterium longum CECT 7347, and Lactobacillus casei CECT 9104. This formulation includes well-characterized strains of probiotics. Bifidobacterium lactis CECT 8145 features antioxidant properties. Bifidobacterium longum CECT 7347 has anti-inflammatory characteristics. Lactobacillus casei CECT 9104 also features antioxidant properties and promotes microbiome diversity in the gut.

Convenient Powder Form

ProZema is available in powder form and can be mixed in liquids or sprinkled over room-temperature food. ProZema fits into your and your child’s schedule as you can take it with breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It has a neutral taste and is odourless, which makes it ideal for picky eaters and people sensitive to smells. Snip the sticks open and dissolve ProZema into a milk and cereal for easy ingestion.

Each box of ProZema probiotic supplement contains 30 individual sticks so you can keep track of the doses easily. Use ProZema for the recommended 3 months.

Clinically Proven Results

ProZema has been clinically shown to reduce the symptoms of eczema and atopic dermatitis within 12 weeks. In the trial, patients were able to stop the use of corticosteroids after 6 weeks of taking ProZema.

The SCORAD index value measures the severity of atopic dermatitis. Higher index values mean severe cases, while lower index values mean mild cases.

Researchers carried out a single-center, randomized, double-blind clinical trial. In this trial, 96% of patients in the probiotic group improved their SCORAD index values. This means there was a decrease in the severity of atopic dermatitis.

Afterwards, researchers further measured this decrease. In the probiotic group, patients displayed an 84% reduction in SCORAD index values. This means the SCORAD scores changed from higher to lower values.

In 91% of patients the symptoms of atopic dermatitis had cleared or almost cleared within 12 weeks.

ProZema is a natural treatment option for patients of eczema and atopic dermatitis. Moreover, as an adjunct therapy, ProZema fits into curated treatment plans. Please discuss any changes to your treatment plan with your healthcare practitioner first.
